Dr
Tiffany Nguyen was born in Vietnam, where she
endured many unexpected hardships. Upon fleeing from her native
land, her and her family suffered for two months at sea, surviving
in a 15-foot fishing boat. They then arrived in Hong Kong where
they lived in three separate refugee camps.
A relative living in America, a country where she did not understand the English language and had a terrible time communicating effectively, sponsored Dr. Nguyen’s family to an improved way of life. She could not engage in conversation, nor did she have any idea about the alphabet and was teased daily by classmates and totally misunderstood by teachers.
Dr. Nguyen started her education at the fourth grade level and was determined to improve her understanding of the English language. She was on the principals list from the sixth grade until her senior year of high school. Dr Nguyen ranked number 4 out of 495 students in her graduating class.
Dr. Nguyen received her Bachelors degree from one of the top ten schools in the Nation, the prestigious University of Pennsylvania. Her Chiropractic training includes her undergraduate degree studies as well as four academic years at Parker College of Chiropractic, in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Nguyen exceeded her educational studies at Parker College by learning two additional chiropractic techniques as well as training from instructors in Chiropractic Pediatrics & Children’s Wellness Certification Program and Acupuncture certification Program. She finished her clinical requirements in half the allotted time and graduated a trimester earlier than scheduled.
Educating families on health and providing them chiropractic care gives Dr. Nguyen tremendous personal satisfaction. Dr. Nguyen actively participates in community events, supporting Chiropractic USA in its daily promotion of improving family health and wellness.
In a time where family structures are, challenged by the economy, personal development, occupational change and political uncertainty a clear focus on family health will contribute greatly to stabilizing and growing family values, which is certain to lead to more meaningful and healthy relationships.
